Do theists cherry pick what they will be highly skeptical about?

Theist may or may not cheerry pick what they are skiptical about. Some theist tend to be literalist, while others may be more flexable and accept the idea that some verses in the bible can not be interpreted literally and thus must be allegorical or metaphorical or parabolical.. The literalist are more or less fundamentalist who are in a indefensible position, they are simply in denial and is badly making an embaring fool of themselves. The metaphoricalist or allegoricalist are more flexible but are efforts to right the wrong are being sabotage by the literalist or fundamentalist, but still have a difficult position to defend.
