The thirteen articles of faith are as follows: First, the belief in the existence of a Creator and Providence; Second, the belief in Yahweh’s unity; Third, belief in Yahweh’s in corporeality; Fourth, belief in Yahweh’s eternity; Fifth, belief that to Yahweh alone is worship due; Sixth, belief in the words of Yahweh’s prophets; Seventh, belief that Moses was the greatest of all prophets; Eighth, belief in the revelation of the lord to Moses at Mount Sinai; Ninth, belief in the immutability of the revealed law; Tenth, belief that God is omniscient; Eleventh, belief in retribution in this world and hereafter; Twelfth, belief in the coming Messiah; Thirteenth, belief in the resurrection of the dead ( Anderson 56).
