What type of racing can i look into with my vt ss?

i have finally built my car it is a manual vt ss commodore blown 355 stroker she is pushing a nice 748bhp and now i want to race it on a circuit some people are saying it has to much hp and i should just drag it but anyone else know where i could go and give it a go on a circuit track in NSW and would i need a roll cage or harness etc as it is still street registered
