I need advice from an x-crackhead.?

I have a friend who I just bailed out of jail. I don't know exactly what she's going through, as far as withdrawals go, but she still talks about getting high as soon as she gets her check. But in other conversations she talks about swearing off of that s**t. How long will her jones' last? She's staying here in my house until she can get herself staightened out. Is there any hope that she'll be able to stay away from it?
