Does the DRM glitch come into effect when transfering data from one xbox 360 hard drive to another?

i am currently still using a 20gb hard drive and am looking into transfering all my data to a 120gb hard drive using a data stick. My question is once all my data is transfered to the new hard drive, will i still be able to use my DLC offline, and if not, will an xbox.com license transfer fix the problem?
