Are female or male hedgehogs better? Why?

I'm getting a hedgehog soon and I've come up with a name. For a boy Quentin because of this sad hedgehog video where Quentin is sick and dies 2 weeks later. Or for a girl Iggy because it's just so cute! I want a boy though because of Quentin but with most small male pets, they are messier than female and this would be my first experience with a hedgehog so I want one that's easier to take care of.
