Research Paper HELP!! PLEASE?

In my English cl I was given an isgnment to write a research paper at least 5 pages long on WHATEVER I choose.This is my first research paper, and I am lost! I have been struggling with what to write about for a month now. I was thinking about stem cell research. Please I need ideas about if thats a good topic, and if anyone has any good refrences or sites that I could use with creditable facts. I first have to write an annotated bibblography with at least ten sources. PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME!!
