Can you take a look at these pictures I took and tell me what you think?

Horizon and colour balance seem to be off on some but for a beginner your doing great. To get less noise(grain) when taking photos lower the ISO but keep in mind that with a low ISO you need faster shutter speeds. (I hope you know what I'm talking about, mostly for my sake, I don't know how to explain it without drawing a picture.
