LiftMaster unit works by night, but fails during the day.?

Starting a couple of months ago, my LiftMaster garage door opener will close to within a foot or so of fully closed, then bounce back open, as if there was an obstruction. Can i use my kicker 15" cvx for dj purposes?

i am looking into getting a subwoofer for backing up my dj pa system. i have my 1000 watt rms kicker sub in my truck that i would love to use. it is in a pretty big ported box so i dont think loudness will be an issue. of course i would need to get crossovers before i feed the sound into the amp so i dont give the sub the wrong frequencies. the sub is also wired at two ohms so idk if a dj style amp would handle that wiring. i also know that car subwoofers are built only for "small spaces" but in theory both subs would move exactly the same so i think the box plays a bigger role in dj subs vs. car subs. so if i wired the sub at 4 ohms and bought another "dj style" power amp that is 1000 watts at 4 ohms for my kicker, would this sound good in big areas and would it work in the first place?

I recently saw a movie on tv, and it was very weird. There was this main character, a man, who had a mustache and always carried a revolver. He had red pants, and was in a sort of dream-world. How can i get rid of the stupid pigeons that take over my balcony all the time?

It never ends. They just keep coming back. Right now probably 5 or 6 are living in my tiny balcony. I live on the 4th floor of my apartment, and pigeons have always just loved my balcony. They come and never leave! They collect sticks, and then lay their eggs. Then the babies hatch, and they get older, and then THEY make eggs. Its SO annoying!! There's bird poo all over the floor, and tiny little bugs come into my room, through the window, because of the unsanitary conditions. Every summer we clean the balcony floor, with javex and other cleaners, and sweep the poo away. BUT THEY ALWAYS COME BACK!!! Alka-seltzer while pregnant, right now????

My book only mentions milk of magnesia, maalox, gelusil, and amphojel for stomach relief as antacids. I don't have any of these, ONLY alka-selzter. I totally agree, when in Thailand focus on practicing Muay Thai and you'll learn more from it than you could in two years back at home. It will completely transform your striking game and open your eyes to a different type of fighting then you're used to. Not to mention, it honestly doesn't take too long to pick back up on your Jiu Jitsu and your Judo after only having been gone a few months, especially since you'll still be in shape from training in Thailand when you get back to training at home. But if you absolutely must train in Jiu Jitsu and Judo while in Thailand, sure they have it there, oftentimes at the same camps as they teach Muay Thai in, due to the popularity of MMA nowadays. This is especially common at the camps which cater to westerners as they are oftentimes training in Muay Thai to complement their grappling or mixed martial arts training back at home, and like to see that the camps also teach grappling.

I have a 1995 Chevy 3500 dually. its RWD and it has the 7.4L motor. One time when i was driving, i tried to use the reverse and it wasnt there. It backs up on idle and if i step on the gas alot (bring the rpms up alot) then it slowly picks up speed in reverse. All my forward gears and low gears work fine. Its just reverse. I have made a very bad mistake at the cost of my childhood friendship and potential future husband. We've known each other since we were 12, and now are 26. we never have been anything more than friends and decided this year to start a long distance romance. My husband is stuck working for a very poorly managed company/team. He's been saying for years that he needs someone else to train for his job as a backup and they keep saying that it will get better. He's overworked and underpaid and they still haven't hired someone for him to train to help him and be his backup. This week he is on vacation, but is near a computer and COULD log in if he wanted (his bosses don't know this). They've had a problem with his process and have left him messages on his cell phone about it. He doesn't want to call them back since he's on vacation and he'll just get dragged into working. I think he should at least call back, but not actually do the work. Perhaps he could just explain to them how to fix the problem--of course, it's programming so I doubt he could do much over the phone. Technically, he is on vacation and should not be available. He's looking for another job, but should he call them back and try to help? What do you all think?

When my white chips cranberry walnut oatmeal cookies come out of the oven (made from scratch), they are amazing. They taste crunchy toward the edges and soft in the middle. Then the next day they taste...kind of like scones. The texture is not right; they are too chewy and not soft enough...and they have lost their crunch. I've made them twice and the first time I stored them was in a tupperware container, and the second time in a plastic bag. Both times the cookies lose their great texture. I do cool the cookies on a cooling rack so I don't understand what's going wrong with storing the cookies. What is the best way to store cookies to maintain crispiness/softness?

NTDLR is missing when i cleaned out my hard drive?

my first computer had a whole bunch of viruses(like 500) so i connected the hard drive to my new computer and deleted everything on the hard drive from my first computer. Then i connected the cleaned hard drive back into my first computer. When i try to start it up i get the NTDLR is missing, because it has nowhere to boot from. What can i do to fix this? i thought that the system cd or recovery cd might help me but the only option i get is press ctr alt dlt to restart. is there any way i can install the os on the cleaned out hard drive using my new comp( will NTDLR also be installed:?)

I have been vegan for maybe a year now. My 19th birthday is coming up soon and my parents told me I could pick out gifts I want from them. I really need a new bag that I can fit everything in and found one that has everything I want. It is a duffel, made from army green canvas material, has contrasting brown straps, can fit my laptop + more, is made by a company who is very ecologically friendly and makes great products, BUT it has small patches of leather on it! I have tried finding another bag that I love as much but there is nothing: I am way too picky about aesthetic design and fashion. This is the only bag that meets my functional needs and desires for looks. I don't know what to do. I want the bag but I don't know if I will always feel bad or like a hypocrite for getting it, as it will be the only non-vegan thing I wear. So tell me your opinion, do you think I have reason enough to get it? Or should I just attempt to shove my fashionista thoughts to the back of my mind and get some other less appealing bag?

Well, first of all I agree with you that there's nothing wrong with leaving a baby in a crib while you get ready for work. At least it's safe there. Also, while I do not condone hitting a female, I would not let one beat up on me like that. When she gets home again, I would simply let her know right to her face that she is not to get physical again with you like that if she expects you to just stand there and take it. If she hits you then tell her she should expect to get smacked right back. After you settle that part of the argument ask her what's wrong with her and suggest some therapy. This is not normal behavior. :-)

High school honestly sucks, what you see with your friends and other people in the halls is pretty much all fake. They do it because they think they have to and nobody it really in love or will stay together. Because in the real world after high school the popular people are unheard of. and the unknown people are the sucessful ones. Let them have the last year of being known while you have the rest of your life. As for the girl it didn't work out, but don't let her or the thoughts of her ruin the rest of your relationships with other people I know you sai not to say this but you DO still have time. It does seem like you are going through alot and maybe there are deeper issues you could work out. You should talk to friends or maybe see someone you can talk to. You need to start telling yourself you are good enough and an amazing person. even if at first you don't beileve so, you will start to see the truely amazing person you are. If you say your not good enough, you won't be and people will see you that way, but tell yourself you are good enough. Everything is going to work out! Just remember that :)

Is hunting in Iowa legal with FMJ bullets?

Did I make the right decision?- college and friends?

I'm a college student and I had this really good friend. I've always told I am more mature then people my age. I have been with a boyfriend from home for 2 years now (and I'm a sopre in school). He's 4 years older then me and as of know we are so in love. My boyfriend's past long relationship ended back with her cheating, so I am really against it. My friend has a boyfriend at home and they have been dating for 4 years Well everyone was drinking and having a good time two weeks at school (the only 2 weekends she spent at school this year).. the first weekend I stayed up until 5 am with her as shes crying that she didn't "get with" any guys that night as I was telling her to stay true with her bf. She went on and said that I was a good friend, and that I was right. Well the next weekend at school we go to the dance and goes off with our roommates friends and then when i asked her to dance with me she said eww get away i want to dance with a guy not you. So I ended up leaving with my friends without her. Well when i went out to the eat at one place around my campus with them. when I got into my building my other friend who was working at the front desk told me that she couldn't walk and was being pulled by a "description" guy I went online found the kid's name and went to go look for her. I asked around and repeatedly called her when I found his room I saw 2 guys and asked if my roommate was in there i threatened them a little bit and they said no.. well i gave up and came back to my room almost an hour later. my other roommate gets a text saying shes on her way back, but I was the one who called her 20 times looking for her I feel pissed because she didn't care to tell me as she came back i let my other roommate take care of her and put her in the shower, after my roommate said make sure shes ok i'm leaving. she was in the room where i asked for her and she had hickeys all over her neck and her "vigina" hurt. after hanging out with this kid the next week and hanging out with him till really late again bothered me because her bf doesn't know about him, i felt uncomfortable knowing this is the 2nd time she cheated on him. well she turned 21 this week and let her bf take her out, then goes and hangs out with the other guy, she's been telling my other roommate everything, despite the fact that her and i were closer.. as they were partying in my room on her birthday (there was a lot of underagers I don't like) i felt uncomfortable i went to one of my ras who is my friend in the building and told them he went to go talk to them while i went to study with someone else. well i ended up texting her saying that she's changed and it doesn't seem like she wants to be my friend anymore, so when she changes back to her normal self. now someone who was in the room on her birthday drinking asked if i called public safety, i didn't call so i denied it. I know I have other good and better friends but i still feel left out and lonely in my own room, I really need and want to focus on my finals this week, but it's hard not thinking about how everyone hates me. did i do the right thing, should i fix anything- if so how, and do you have any advice to keep me focused and not upset that i miss my how my friend used to be

Why are we forced to buy health care?

Obama wants to look good to the UN. The UN rates our health care poorly partly because we don't insure everyone. His premise is to insure the other 30 million who don't have health insurance. Still not everyone will have it for some unknown reason. Some of the 30 million don't want health insurance. Some really can't afford it because they earn too much for Medicaid and not enough to buy it out right. Some wouldn't be able to buy a home and car if they opted for health insurance. I agree there are better ways to deal with the problem than what our government has done to us. They know from the states who have used mandated health insurance that it is too expensive to deal with in that way.
